Back in 1966, our Father/Grandfather, Socrates, opened the doors of Newtowne Grille at 1945 Massachusetts Ave. in Porter Square, Cambridge.

Years ago, the cities that are now known as Cambridge and Newton were originally a part of what was called “the new towne.”
The restaurant’s name represents the history of that area and reminds us of the originality and history of Socrates’ Newtowne Grille.
We as a family are proud to have opened our second location.
Although our menu has changed over the years, the intentions and model set forth by our Grandfather has not.
We continue to ensure that each guest is treated like family, enjoys a good meal at a reasonable price and most importantly, has a great time under our roof.
Hours: Monday to Saturday 11:00am to 1:00am
